1. Bugatti Veyron $1,700,000. This is by far the most expensive street legal car available on the market today. It is the fastest accelerating car reaching 0-60 in 2.6 seconds. However, the title for the fastest car goes to the SSC Ultimate Aero which exceed 253 mph pushing this car to 2nd place for the fastest car.

2. Lamborghini Reventon $1,600,000. The most powerful and the most expensive Lamborghini ever built is the second on the list. It takes 3.3 seconds to reach 60 mph and it has a top speed of 211 mph. Its rarity (limited to 20) and slick design are the reasons why it is so expensive and costly to own.

3. McLaren F1 $970,000. In 1994, the McLaren F1 was the fastest and most expensive car. Even though it was built 15 years ago, it has an unbelievable  top speed of 240 mph and reaching 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. Even as of today, the McLaren F1 is still top on the list and it outperformed many other supercars.

4. Ferrari Enzo $670,000. The most known supercar ever built. The Enzo has a top speed of 217 mph and reaching 60 mph in 3.4 seconds. Only 400 units were produced and it is currently being sold for over $1,000,000 at auctions.

5. Pagani Zonda C12 F $667,321. Produced by a small independent company in Italy, the Pagani Zonda C12 F is the 5th fastest car in the world. It promises to delivery a top speed of 215 mph+ and it can reach 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.

6. SSC Ultimate Aero $654,400. Don't let the price tag fool you, the 6th most expensive car is actually the fastest street legal car in the world with a top speed of 257 mph+ and reaching 0-60 in 2.7 seconds. This baby cost nearly half as much as the Bugatti Veyron, yet has enough power to top the most expensive car in a speed race. It is estimated that only 25 of this exact model will ever be produced.

7. Saleen S7 Twin Turbo $555,000. The first true American production certified supercar, this cowboy is also rank 3rd for the fastest car in the world. It has a top speed of 248 mph+ and it can reach 0-60 in 3.2 seconds. If you are a true American patriot, you can be proud to show off this car.

8. Koenigsegg CCX $545,568. Swedish made, the Koenigsegg is fighting hard to become the fastest car in the world. Currently, it is the 4th fastest car in the world with a top speed of 245 mph+, the car manufacture Koenigsegg is not giving up and will continue to try and produce the fastest car. Honda CR-V: the next generation SUV

Honda's super hot SUV Honda CR-V which has ruled the SUV segment is all set to take the Indian auto industry by storm.

Toyota recalls 373,000 2000-2004 Avalons

Toyota Announces Intent to Voluntarily Recall Certain Toyota Avalons to Replace Steering Column Bracket

TORRANCE, Calif., July 29, 2010 — Toyota Motor Sales (TMS), U.S.A., Inc., today announced that it intends to conduct a voluntary safety recall involving approximately 373,000 2000-2004 Model Year Toyota Avalons sold in the United States to address the possibility that the vehicle’s steering lock bar could break under certain conditions. No other Toyota or Lexus vehicles are involved in this recall.

This action follows an announcement made by Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan on July 29, 2010.

Because of improper casting of the steering lock bar, which is a component of the steering interlock system, there is a possibility that a minute crack may develop on the surface. Such a crack may expand over a long period of repeated lock and unlock operations, and eventually the lock bar could break. If this occurs, the interlock system may become difficult to unlock when stationary.

If the vehicle while being driven is steered to the right with sufficient lateral acceleration, a broken and loose lock bar may move toward the steering shaft. If the engagement hole in the shaft happens to line up at the specific time the broken lock bar has moved, this could cause the steering wheel lock bar to engage, locking the steering wheel, and increasing the risk of a crash.

Steve St. Angelo, Toyota chief quality officer for North America, said, “Toyota is continuing to work diligently to address safety issues wherever they arise and to strengthen our global quality assurance operations so that Toyota owners can be confident in the safety of their vehicles.”

As part of the recall, Toyota will replace the steering column bracket on involved vehicles, a procedure that takes about two hours to complete depending on the dealer’s schedule. Toyota will notify owners by first class mail beginning in late August 2010 to bring their vehicles to their local Toyota dealer for replacement of the steering column bracket at no charge to the customer.

Porsche 918 Spyder Hybrid Supercar Now Available for Pre-order at $845,000

Delayed start to season helped McLaren, Formula 1

McLaren driver Jenson Button said the delayed start to the Formula 1 season gave his team the chance to improve the car after an erratic pre-season.

Team-mate Lewis Hamilton finished second in the opening race at Melbourne, with Button down in sixth after a drive-through penalty.

'Over two weeks ago we thought we were on the pace of the Force India cars in testing," he told the Daily Mail.

'But we qualified two seconds quicker than them. We've picked up so much."

The 2011 season was supposed to start in Bahrain on 13 March, but the political situation in the country saw the race postponed.

The season eventually moved under way on 27 March, and the delay gave McLaren time to make improvements to their set-up.

'Looking at the performance of the car now and seeing where we have come from, it's massively impressive. I've never seen anything like it," added Benson.

'You can see in the team everyone is now really positive, and there is a good atmosphere because we know this is only the beginning for us.

'With this new exhaust system, it's the starting point, and whereas everyone else has had all winter to play around with theirs, we can make some improvements."

2010 Roush 427R Mustang

The 2010 Roush 427R is the first car in the Mustang to feature a ROUSH charger that results in a high amount of output power and torque.

The car comes out with a number of changes compared to the previous cars in the Mustang. The car features a new designed body, air induction tube that encloses the engine, hoses made of molded rubber, intercoolers that cools that cools the engine twice compared to the previous intercoolers. 2009 Roush P-51B Mustang
