Maruti SX4 diesel version launched

Maruti SX4 Diesel version launched today in the domestic auto market and the new sedan carries the same stylish look but with a new soul.

The saloon will be available in three variants they are Maruti SX4 Diesel VDi, Maruti SX4 Diesel ZDi and Maruti SX4 Diesel ZDi (leather upholstery). The Maruti SX4 Diesel VDi is priced at Rs 7.74 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and Maruti SX4 Diesel ZDi is tagged at Rs 8.62 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new Diesel variant in the sedan was much awaited in the A3 segment and the Indian auto major launched the car at the most apt time in the Indian auto market.

The new variant Maruti SX4 Diesel is powered with Super Turbo DDiS powertrain which delivers 90 PS power at 4000 rpm. The mill in the sedan is all set to offer a peak torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm which ensures high speed with smooth drive especially on the city roads. Maruti SX4 Diesel can cater to an extraordinary fuel economy of 21.5 kmpl which is certified as per the CMVR rules which is more than 8 per cent above than the other cars. Maruti SX4 Diesel is also the first car which is certified as “OBD-2” complaint specifies any malfunctioning in the emission control system.

The sedan is luxury to sit in with advance features, comfort and performance it is sure to be one of the most admired car by the Indian buyers. The necessary noise suppressants helps in improving NVH performance and makes the cabin space silent and gives ample comfort. In the diesel variant of Maruti SX4 the brakes and suspension have been modified to adjust with the heavier engine.

The powertrain can be achieved in 0 to 100 Km in just 14.5 seconds. With so much to offer with the new variant Maruti is sure to cement its position harder in the Indian Auto Market.
