New Chevrolet Captiva likely to be launched in October

The American auto-maker General Motors India made  the announcement of the launch date of Chevrolet Beat Diesel somewhere next month, now the speculations are high that they are going to launch the facelifted version of the SUV named New Chevrolet Captiva.
The facelifted version of this SUV incorporates some new features and a totally new design. Chevrolet Captiva launch is expected to be somewhere in the festive season of October.This car is likely to be equipped with a engine that will provide with much more power and torque that the current model of Chevrolet Captiva provides. As per the speculations this new car will not be available in the petrol version and will be equipped with the same amazing 2.0 L common rail engine which will give out a fantastic performance. The new Chevrolet Captiva is expected to be priced around Rs. 18-20 lakh INR.The launch of this new car with the Chevrolet Beat diesel is likely to increase the market share of General Motors in India. The company says that they do not  want to be confined to hatchback car segment, but they also want to expand their market in all segments.The Chevrolet Beat diesel is supposed to be launched in the month of July. This new car in diesel version will surely be liked by the Indian buyers due to the recent petrol hikes in the country. The car has 1,248cc multijet diesel engine which is capable of delivering a maximum torque of 150 Nm and a five speed gearbox. The car also has the capability of delivering a mileage of 24 kmpl, which is surely going to tempt the Indian customers.The SUV will add to the line up with Chevrolet Tavera and the Chevrolet Tavera Neo. The car will uproar the other SUVs in India like Honda CR-V, Ford Endeavour and the upcoming SUV's like Force One, Mahindra W201, Mahindra Kornado etc.

Toyota Etios Liva launched in India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) today announced its entry into the popular hatchback segment in India, with the launch of Etios Liva.
Etios sedan and the hatchback Etios Liva - built on the same platform – have been specifically developed for the Indian customers. Etios Liva inherits its name from its sedan, Etios. The word Liva has been coined from the dynamic and positive terms - Lively and Live Life to the fullest - which reflects the spirit and image of the car. It is targeted at today’s youth whose spirit and belief is translated into the advertising line for Etios Liva -“LIV TMRRW 2DAY”.

Tagged – ‘Q Class Hatch’ - Etios Liva is stylishly designed and portrays a youthful and sporty image. Etios Liva will carry forward the ‘Q’ Class experience from Etios and will offer Toyota’s legendary QDR standard – Quality, Durability and Reliability at an affordable price.Etios Liva will be available in four variants, J, G, V and VX, competitively priced. New BMW 7 series likely to hit Indian Roads in early 2012

The current BMW 7 Series or F01 that is running on the Indian streets was launched in 2009 and since then there has been no upgradation of the model. During this time, Jaguar and Audi  have kicked  their elegant and highly luxurious sedans in the Indian market that have surely fascinated large masses.
Mercedes Benz is also occupied with extensive testing of its new Mercedes S Class for about a year now for unveiling it next year.

So the market trends forced  BMW designers to take some interest in facelifting  the long forgotten BMW 7 Series. As per the source reveal. After about 3 years of duty internationally,new version of BMW 7 Series will sport some mild facelifts that may include changes to the front, a revamped rear bumper and A few LEDs strips on the headlamps. Sources have caught an early prototype of the revised BMW 7 series being tested in Germany, car was bleakly covered during the test drive.

The test car cues some exterior cosmetic changes as well which include newly designed set of exterior mirrors that house the turn signals. This test mule is the hybrid version of the BMW 7 series because it had ‘Active Hybrid’ badges all over it. BMW India will officially showcase the new  BMW 7 Series later this year and the sedan car will be land on Indian shores for sale by the start of next year. We expect BMW to assemble the 7 Series, currently shipped as a built product from Germany, in Chennai later this year or early in 2012.

Renualt Duster expected to launch in India soon

As seen from the past results, Indian car market is growing at a very high rate. So in order to keep a pace with the growth in the automobile sector Renault has acquired manufacturing facilities with the Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai.
Renault has developed its own sales network, a logistics Centre, an engineering Centre shared with the Alliance and a design Centre based in Mumbai.

Renault is speculated to launch a highly anticipated new SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) in India soon.  This SUV is expected to be christened Renault Duster in Indian Markets. Renault Duster launch will be one of the biggest event in Renault India's  history.Renault Duster has already created a hysteria about itself long before the launch and it is one of the most anticipated SUVS to be launched in India in the coming time. Soon New Renault Duster will hit Indian roads. Renault Duster is designed to smoothly run on all types of surfaces. To meet this specification Dacia Duster will be available in two sizes 4x4 and 4x2. Its high ground clearance of 210mm, short overhangs (822mm at the front, 820mm at the rear) and big clearance angles are the features that enables Dacia Duster to run on different type of surfaces. Renault Duster Price is expected to be around RS 10 lakh.It is expected that the new Reanult Duster SUV is going to hit the road in the upcoming Buenos Aires auto show in Argentina by the end of this month. For this reason innovative changes have been made to the model such as chrome finish at the exterior, a new center console, and newly designed interiors. In India it will be manufactured at Chennai plant.

Renault is also planning to launch Renault Koleos, it is a luxury SUV,It is mainly designed to run on highways. Its “easy fold” function makes it efficient for transporting bikes. It is expected to be launched in India by October 2011. Renault Fluence was launched in India on May 23, 2011. Renault Fluence is launched in two variants- 2. L petrol and another 1. L diesel.

Audi A3 To Hit Indian Roads In 2014

German Automaker Audi is all set to cut the price barrier of high-end cars by launching its Audi A3 saloon car in India.
With Audi A3 price expected to stay near Rs. 20 lakh, the car is rumored to hit Indian roads in year 2014.Earlier it was reported that just like other luxury car makers, Audi was also planning to increase the stakes in Indian automobile market with the launch of Audi A3 in the country. And for this reason, Audi India started analysis of future prospects in Indian car market.

 Also, Head of Audi India, Michael Pershcke earlier said that Audi was considering the addition of Audi A3 in its product portfolio. He also added that company was looking forward to launch luxury SUV car Audi Q3 in the Indian market by 2012.With Audi India now executing a top down approach to launch cars in India, the first affordable Audi car which is expected to enter India will be Audi Q3 at the 2012 Auto Expo. Audi A3 will follow the launch and is going to adorn a price tag lower than that of Audi Q3. The entry level sedan car Audi A3 is going to feature front-wheel drive and will definitely provide the required thrust to compete with other German rivals like BMW and Mercedes.As for now Audi is gaining good market share with the fleet of cars which includes Audi A6, Audi Q5, Audi A4, Audi A8, Audi Q7 and recently launched Audi RS5 and Audi A7.

New Volkswagen Jetta to launch on 17 August 2011

According to recent developments in Indian car market, German car maker Volkswagen is planning for the launch of its much awaited 2011 Volkswagen Jetta.
The midsize sedan car Volkswagen Jetta is expected to be launched on 17th August this year.With major car manufacturing companies like Maruti India and Ford already in process of launching the retouched versions of their existing car models, Volkswagen India will also be joining the bandwagon in August. The retouched version of 2011 Volkswagen Jetta is expected to arrive in both petrol engine and diesel engine. The new Volkswagen Jetta will come affixed with a 2.0L TDI diesel and 1.8L TSI petrol under the hood. However, with high petrol prices in India, diesel variant of the German car is expected to beat its petrol version in sales figures.According to experts, new Volkswagen Jetta is expected to offer sportier and wavy appearance compared to the existing model while interiors of this German car will deliver high comfort and elegance with a new dashboard and styling, resistance rolling for tires, BlueMotion and new navigation system.It is worth mentioning that Volkswagen Jetta 2011 will arrive with a DSG gearbox which will be affixed six-speed Automatic Transmission/Manual Transmission.
