Customise the Start Menu

The list of frequently accessed programs in the Start Menu can be useful, but it gets irritating when Windows decides a program you want doesnt need to be there anymore.

If you dont want windows to interfere with which programs appear in the list .

Simply rright click on an empty area of your taskbar select properties

Click the "Start Menu" tab and click "Customise"

Reduce the number of programs on Start Menu to Zero

Then Click on "Start" then "All Programs" and for each programsthat you want in the first permanently right click on the shortcut and select pin to Start menu. Now you'll have a permanent list of all the programs you neeed. You can even drag and drop to arrange them in any order.
