Skoda Yeti wins the SUV of the Year

Skoda Yeti, the recently launched SUV in India has won the award for the SUV of the year. The news came from an esteemed news paper in India, that, Skoda Auto India, a wholly owned enterprise of the Czech Republic and best known for its technology and designs in the Indian auto market was honoured with the award for the best Sports Utility Vehicle for the year.

The trendy SUV, Skoda Yeti was launched globally in 2009 and in India it was inaugurated recently but before that in the January, in the Auto show in New Delhi 2010, Skoda Yeti was showcased and was applauded for it designs, technology and features
Skoda Yeti is best known for its comfort, safety and design which its offers. Skoda Yeti comes with a price ranges of Rs 15,40,324 to Rs 16,62,721 available in two models Ambiente and Elegance. The SUV is giving a tough competition to the already established SUVs such as Tata Safari, Maruti Grand Vitara, Mahindra Scorpio, Tata Aria, Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour and Mitsubishi Outlander. Before the launch of the SUV, it already created a niche among the SUV lovers and ripple in its rivals pavilion.
Skoda Auto with the launch of the new SUV expanded its already robust and stylish portfolio which includes the hatchback Skoda Fabia and the sedans Skoda New Laura and Skoda Superb. It has helped the Czech Republic auto mobile markers to target wider audiences. The company expects to lure the growing SUV market in India and to enjoy a meaty chunk of the domestic market share.
