Who will not love to own a Ferrari! Though the Italian sports car is already a well known brand in India, the premium sports car will be soon launched in India officially in the beginning of 2011.
Mr Valerie Costa, the communications director in Ferrari, ushered some light on Ferrari's future plans for the domestic auto market. He said that, the premium sports car Ferrari will be stepping in India by next year. He further said that, currently the luxury car will be coming in CBU (completely built-up unit) from its home ground.
The company with its establishment of the new dealership in India will make the count of Ferrari showrooms to 58 dealers across world. The Italian car manufacturer Ferrari manufactures one of the most loved car among the car aficionados. This car is famous for its speed, technology and luxury. Italy is home for the Formula 1 which makes Ferrari a popular brand among the sports car lovers.
Ferrari has not yet revealed the models the Italian company wishes to bring in the domestic car market. As per the sources, the company will come up with 599 GTO, 599 GTB Fiorana, California, 612 Scaglietti and 458 Italy models. The Italian car company is speculated to be coming with a price tag of more than Rs 1 crore in the domestic auto market which will be shipped as a CBU unit in this car segment to save on a heavy on import duty by 110 per cent.
Ferrari coming with the new sports car in the premium car segment is the reflection of the growing demand for these car in the Indian auto market. Apart from Ferrari, there are many other luxury car makers which are planning to establish in the domestic auto sector such as Koenigsegg, Bugatti and Spyker.
If reviewing the Indian car market, in recent years, the luxury car market has gained a momentum in terms of demand and sales. These luxury cars includes BMW, Mercedes Benz, Bentley, Lamborghini, Maybach and Audi who is showcasing accelerating sales graphs. These cars are a running proof of technical advancement and upgraded features.
